About Us

 After the birth of my first child, I closed my brick and mortar gift boutique Island Cottage Gifts.  Another child and four years later, I missed retail and the rewards of running a business.  Since I am a stay-at-home mom and live on an island where foot traffic is seasonal and limited, I decided an online gift boutique suited my new life and location.

As a mother, I am increasingly concerned about the toxicity of the products that my children come in contact with and the overall health of our planet.  Because of this, and because our economy needs our support, I decided that I would choose only American made products and focus on those that are earth friendly and organic.
