Sales Tax
In accordance with Michigan tax laws, all orders shipped to a Michigan address will be charged 6% sales tax.
Shipping Information
We use UPS and USPS as our shipping partners. Shipments are processed the next day Monday through Friday with the exception of holidays. Live shipping quotes are based on your package weight and delivery method. We do not charge a handling fee. We offer FREE SHIPPING (ground/parcel post) on domestic orders over $99.00! Free local pick up is also available and is offered as an option during check out to those with Michigan addresses. For those choosing the free local pick up option, after your order is placed, we will contact you to arrange pick up or delivery.
Return Policy
Return/Exchange Policy:
We accept return and exchanges within 14 days of delivery of your order.
All items must be unused in original condition.
Please e-mail us prior to returning the items.
Customer is responsible for return shipping costs with the exception of damaged or defective items. Customers will be charged actual shipping charges on exchanges.
Lost/Damaged Items:
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return process, therefore we recommend sending your package by a shipping service with tracking and insurance.
Non-Returnable Items:
Final sale items, personalized and custom orders cannot be returned.
Lost, Delayed or Damaged Items:
In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged item or an error was made with your order, please contact us immediately for a replacement and return instructions. We cannot be held responsible for lost, delayed or damaged items while in possession of the carrier, however, we will do everything we can to locate the items and file claims for any such loss or damage.
Shipment Refusal:
Customers who refuse shipment of an order are still responsible for the shipping costs.
Gift Packaging
For $3.95, your gift will be presented in a sage green Kraft gift box (made with 100% recycled board that can be recycled again) with a bella sophia logo label made with recycled paper, tied with a white grosgrain ribbon and bow. Items are wrapped in white tissue paper and a logo gift card made of recycled paper is included inside with your personal message. We offer the option of grouping purchased items in one gift box. After choosing the $3.95 gift box option for your first item, you have the option of choosing the 'Group in First Gift Box' option for $1.00 per additional item. If you are purchasing multiple gift boxes and grouped items, please indicate which items are to be included together in the special instructions text box during check out. Please make sure you have purchased a $3.95 gift box before choosing the $1.00 additional item option.
Gift Certificates
Sending a bella sophia emailable gift certificate is easy! Just purchase them as you would any other product. After checkout, the value of the gift certificate will be added to your account. After you've ordered, read up to the My Account link at the top of the page and click the "send a gift certificate" button in the Gift Certificate Account section. Just enter the recipient's name, email, amount and your message and you're done!
An e-mail will be sent to the recipient with your message, the amount of the gift certificate, and information on redeeming the card.

If you would like, in addition to or instead of the e-mail gift certificate, we can mail the recipient (or you) a logo printed note card with your personal message, certificate amount and instructions. Please indicate this in the order comments area of check out. Be sure to include the name of the recipient and the address you would like the card mailed to.
Paying with Gift Cards or Store Credit
When paying with gift cards or store credit, enter the code number in the “Redemption Code” field during check out. This amount can be applied to merchandise, sales tax, shipping and gift boxing. If your order total is more than the credit amount, you will be asked to enter your method of payment to cover the balance. If you have credit left, you can use it next time you shop at bella sophia!
Eco-friendly Mission
Protecting the environment and our bodies is very important to us. We follow the three R’s of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle as much as possible. We reuse packing supplies and boxes from our inventory shipments and choose recycled and biodegradable products including our gift boxes, shipping peanuts, gift cards, and labels when ordering supplies. All of our products are locally manufactured in the United States which means less shipping and a smaller carbon footprint. In addition, most meet one or more of the following "green code" criteria of recycled, organic, and/or sustainable.
Security and Privacy Policy
Your privacy and security are important to us! We will not share your personal information with anyone whether you are making a purchase or signing up for our mailing list. We will not share the gift recipient's information either. If you choose to “E-mail to a friend”, we will not share their information and will only add them to our mailing list if they opt-in.
All transactions are made through a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection that encrypts and scrambles all personal information including your name, address and credit card information.
